MY TOP TIPS ON HOW TO RELAX ON THE PLANE AND REACH YOUR DESTINATION RECHARGED, + A FREE TRIAL OF MY FAVE APP!
Hi, okay yes I travel a lot (of to Barcelona next week) with work and with my daughter. So from all this experience, I have learned that to relax and sleep on the flight, I need to bring certain gadgets I’d like to share with you.
A fully charged phone and really good headphones, they need to be good so they lock out most noise possible and are comfortable to wear for hours. I love mine from B&O Play.
Storytel. I’ve mentioned this app before in this post, because it is close to being my best friend when traveling. Storytel is a book app where I download audio books, I usually download a couple of books before a journey. Listening to audio books is a very efficient way for me to fall a sleep, while feeding my brain. You can time it to stop so you won’t miss out when you doze off. My 7 year old daughter uses the app every day at home, it has a ton of kids stories too. I’ve managed to make a deal with storytel so that you can try it for free until the 30th of May! I really recommend giving it a try (no I don’t get paid for saying this, although I’d like to) just click the link to try it here. storytel.dk/marieandthemakeup
Ear plugs, these go in when just want complete quiet, I wear my headphones over,- super quiet.
A rich moisturizer/balm. I always bring a rich moisturizer that I can use on hands, face etc, the one on the picture is called Calm and is from Karmameju.
- The prettiest, most soft and relaxing sleeping masks around are from Holistic Silk. They are large enough to keep all light out and have organic, soothing lavender stitched in between the silk and velvet. They are the dream!
- If your flying long haul I totally recommend to bring a PJ (yes seriously), toothbrush, tooth paste, and everything you use for your skincare routine. This way you’re making your journey much more comfortable and you have all odds on arriving to your destination fully recharged and looking quite fresh.
