MY MAKEUP AND WHAT I WORE AT ELLE STYLE AWARDS
On Monday Elle Style Awards 2015 took place and as you might know (if you read my blog regularly) I was one out of three nominees for the category ‘Makeup Artist of the Year’. Unfortunately I didn’t win, but both Anne Staunsager who won the award and Sine Ginsborg who was also nominated are some of the absolute most talented, gifted and hard working people I know and it felt great to be in the run up for the award with two so prominent names as Anne and Sine. I felt genuinely grateful and HAPPY!
Alright, now to my ‘look’: I wore a beautiful lace dress from Ganni, together with my favorite leather jacket which is also from Ganni, a leather clutch from Saint Laurent which I got on Kassandra.dk and a pair of cool yet feminine leather boots from &other Stories.
For my makeup I wanted to look natural and fresh and embrace that I still had a little tan left, so I prepared my skin with Rudolph care face scrub, then Gaelle Organic ‘Ultra Sensetive cream‘ and Tromborg Anti Aging Eye Cream.
To hide dark circles under the eyes and redness around my nostrels I used RMS Beauty ‘Un-cover up’. It blends perfectly into the skin while covering what I need.
To enhance my cheekbones a little I used Mac ‘Sculpt‘ which is my absolute go to product when it comes to contouring fair and medium skin tones.
To enhance my tan I used RMS Beauty buriti Bronzer and for glow and highlighter I used RMS Living Luminizer.
On my eyes I used Tromborg Eye Grease ‘Thunder’, a creme eyeshadow that makes my eyes pop a little more, Maybelline Falsies Feather-look waterpoof mascara in black. I used waterproof because it stays in place when wearing a creme eyeshadow.
Maybelline Dr Rescue lipbalm ‘Too Cool’ -My absolute fave Babylips.
I kept my nails short and clean, no nail polish just hand creme, I love Herbal Deluxe Hand creme from Tromborg, It smells AMAZING. I’m sorry I didn’t take many pictures from the night but here’s a few.
