If you’re following me on Instagram (mariethomsenbaby) you might know that I’ve just spent a week with cool fashion stylist Maiken Winther working for Pandora jewellery. Maiken is the former fashion editor at Costume magazine and after around 10 years working at the magazine she has now gone freelance and is represented by the same agent as me, Agentur cph.dk
Maiken agreed to share her top shelve products and tips with us, you you wannna see more of this cool cat check out her fashion blog Nouvelle.dk
Q: Skin savoir no one at the moment? A: Verso?s skin serums, because ?WRINKLES BE GONE!’ I feel this stuff really works.
Q: What do you never leave the house without? A: Hand creme ‘Blanche’ from Byredeo, Dr. Rescue Babylips from Maybelline, Tromborg pure nail reneval stick to keep my nails in good condition – and then Berocca tablets with vitamin b, c, magnesium & zink.
Q: Tell me about your latest beauty obsession. A: I?m going crazy over Korean beauty stuff like face rollers, sheet masks and the new Lancome cushion foundation which was first released in Korea. The foundation keeps your skin moist all day and has a nice coverage you can build up if neccesary. Also it feels nice and cool when I apply it to my skin. So right now I’m just obsessing over the whole Korean skin care craze.
(Psst..makeup artist Lisa Eldridge has made a video about Korean beauty buys. Check it out here.)
Q: What?s your next beauty buy? A: My next beauty buy must be M2 Brow. I’ve had it before and it’s really a miracle for a girl like me. This stuff really works and it?s been out of stock so im getting a bit desperate here.
Also I?ve heard a lot of good things about Weleda Skin Food from different makeup artists (Marie among others). It?s an organic cream for dry skin and just the name makes me want it!
