DREAMING OF VELVET SKIN

Looking so good I almost wanna eat it haha.

As you might know I a serious fan,- and pardon my french, freaking master of dewy skin. But after making endless amounts of perfect dewy skin, and maybe also because of season changes, I’ve started to dig matte, velvet-like skin. I mean really, really dig it! And a couple of weeks ago I was on set shooting a fashion story and I wanted to create perfect flawless skin similar to what you see on the latest Gucci campaign and I realised that my foundations were a bit too shiny even though I carry quite a few different ones with me. Then some days later I was playing around with my newly arrived Maybelline foundations and I discovered that the ‘Dream Matte Mousse’ foundation was just what I had needed to create that FLAWLESS matte skin earlier!

Same great product but with new packaging.

It’s a mousse with medium coverage, matte finish and spf 15, I apply it to clean and THOROUGHLY moisturized skin (don’t use it if your skin is very dry or flaky) with a stippling brush like the ‘187 duo fiber brush’ from Mac or my fingertips. Start with a little and then build up if you need more coverage. To be honest I was a bit sceptical about this mousse foundation before I really got to work with it, firstly because I’m not really that used to matte, second because it’s a mousse but I kid you not, if you like velvet skin ( who doesn’t?!) then this foundation rocks!!

Have a great weekend ya’ll!

XX Marie
