Line is one of the sweetest down to earth people you can think of, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with her quite a few times now. She is so thorough and focused when doing hair and is just pure pleasure to work with. She took the time to answer a little QA for marieandthemakeup. and here it is for you guys to enjoy!

Q: What’s the biggest trend in hair right now?

A: I Think we are starting to move away from the ‘day-after-look’, in our haircuts and hairstyles. Along with the organic life we try to live, we also want the hair to reflect that so I feel that more and more people want their hair to look healthy and well,- natural.

Q: Name 3 styling products you can’t live without.

A: ‘Hair Resort’, ‘Fresh Hair’ and ‘Young Again’ – all by Kevin Murphy.
What they all have in common is that you can work in the hair after you’ve added the product, and it will keep the ‘no product’ look, – I love that!

Q: Your biggest hair inspiration?

A: When traveling a lot, I get to see all these different types of people, I enjoy sitting in a coffee shop in downtown Brooklyn, looking at the locals walking by for instance.- They all express some kind of personality through their apparence.

Q: Best hair investment for us to make?

A: Dry shampoo! People frequently ask me, ‘how to get rid of greasy hair?’ and instead of washing it daily, I recommend using dry shampoo. Like I said my favorite is ‘Fresh Hair’ from Kevin Murphy.

Q: Most exciting place you’ve ever been on a job?

A: The Seychelles! I was prepping for the sun cosmetics company Piz Buin and that is  the most incredible place I’ve ever been! My latest boss called me Thursday and asked if I was able to travel to prep for a job Saturday. And before I knew it, I was on a plane to the Seychelles. That’s one of the many great perks of working as a freelancer!
