BYE FOR NOW ISRAEL
All right just got back two days ago from Israel, -well mainly Tel Aviv where we shot summer stories fro Eurowoman magazine. Tel Aviv seems like a pretty awesome city with a lot going on! Great food, lots of museums and cozy down to earth bars and cafe’s which serves a lot organic and vegan food and wine. Tel Aviv is called “the bubble” and considered the most liberal city in the middle east,- the biggest Pride parade in the world in fact takes place here. Clubbing should be good too but I was there for work so no clubbing for me this time around.
I also went to Jerusalem on my day off (VERY different from Tel Aviv!) to see some of the historic sites and also go to the Dead sea which was really funny to swim in (especially when you’re not a good swimmer in normal waters like myself). In this super salty water I was like a pro swimmer-ish..! The minerals from both the water and mud there is supposed to do wonders for your skin, I tried it and my skin did feel very soft after a whole body mud mask and it was also fun of course to be covered in mud.
At first when I heard I was going to Israel I was like “Really?!” – Because of the on going Israeli/Palestinian conflict. If you want to know more about that then here is a very quick summery of the situation from wicki.
Work wise you’ll just have to wait and see what we did, I’ll of course be posting the stories when they get published through out the summer so stay tuned.
